Simon Carmody is the lead singer of Irish rock, punk and psychedelic band The Golden Horde (1982 – 1994). He releases two solo EP’s in 1999: “Smile Baby Smile” and “Dark Girl”. A regular at Gavin’s Blue Jaysus club, Simon co-produced Aidan Walsh’s LP “A Life Story Of My Life” with him in 1987.

The Golden Horde were a punk-pop band from Dublin. Originally formed in 1982 by Simon Carmody, Des O'Byrne and Caroline Harvey-Kelly, some of the band's early performances had extensive line ups.
