Ciné Cinéma was originally a cable channel, sister to Ciné Spectacles. In September 2002, CinéCinémas 1 was replaced by CinéCinéma Premier. The Ciné+ channels have gotten a minor rebrand in 2019, removing the space between Ciné and +. Following the merge of Ciné+ and OCS on July 3rd 2024, Ciné+ Premier merged with OCS Max to form OCS.
