  3. Mar 22, 1994 · BIOGRAPHY: John Krish was born in London in 1923. His father, a Russian émigré, was the founder of the New Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. Krish was inspired to enter documentary filmmaking after having seen Night Mail (1936). He was accepted as a trainee by Ian Dalrymple at the Crown Film Unit.
