Synopsis. Good kids, small-town fun & unconditional love for a struggling friend. Unlike most gangs, the ButterCream gang does good deeds. Their leader, Pete, has to go live with his aunt in Chicago. But things don’t go well in Chicago and Pete is changed when he returns. Soon Pete is hanging around with the wrong crowd.
The sweet-natured ButterCream Gang is about to lose its fearless leader, Pete, who moves to Chicago to live with a relative. In the big city, Pete loses his small-town values of helpfulness and empathy and falls in with a violent crowd.
Buttercream leader Pete (Michael D. Wheathered), an orphan who lives with his grandparents, is leaving for Chicago to live with his aunt. However, in Chicago, Pete is weaned away from the good deeds of his Buttercream past and becomes involved with a street gang. After his school performance drops, his aunt sends him back to Oakridge.
