The beginning of this film was so promising — a hushed, intent ghost story that recalled Under The Skin in nightmare visuals and deep, unsettling negative space. And then it just drew out the mood intensely for 80-some minutes, repeating the same voiceover lines until they became maddening, then abruptly ending.
