Dec 7, 2023 · Generally, the COE bidding exercise starts on Monday at 12pm in the week when the exercise is due, and ends with the results on Wednesday at 4pm. However, there are two COE bidding exercises in 2024 which will start on Tuesday at 12pm and end on Thursday.
Temporary Certificates of Entitlement (TCOEs) for Categories A, B and D (for Category D TCOEs obtained before the March 2022 2nd COE bidding exercise) are valid for 6 months. For example: A Category A TCOE obtained during the January 2022 1st COE bidding exercise will be valid until 14 July 2022.

Bids usually start on the first and third Monday of each month at 12pm SGT, and bids close on Wednesdays of the same week at 4pm SGT. There are three exceptions in 2023 to accommodate public holidays that fall on scheduled Mondays and Wednesdays (New Year’s Day, Labour Day and National Day).
You can revise your bid upwards to remain in the running for a COE in the current exercise, or go for a new bidding exercise next time. Bids must be revised upwards in multiples of $1. For each successful revision, you will receive a new Acknowledgement Code.
Feb 12, 2023 · The COE bidding exercise always starts on Monday at 12pm, on the week that the exercise is due. For example, if the results of the first bidding exercise for January 2023 are announced on the 4th, the bidding exercise will begin on 2 January 2023 (Monday), 12pm.
Jun 5, 2024 · Next round of COE bidding starts on 18 June 2024 at 12pm, with the results out on 20 June 2024 at 4pm (because 17 June is a public holiday, Hari Raja Haji).
