  1. Aug 2, 2021 · Nice! Yeah, agreed Haunt was great. I’d recommend starting with Hell Fest since it’s more similar to that. Dark Ride (2006) is also a bit similar if you’re into semi-cheesy 00s, ha. Blood Fest is pretty similar to The Final Girls and Cabin in the Woods, really focused on horror cinematic universes and tropes.

  2. Oct 16, 2018 · Hell Fest. Hell Fest took the concept of Blood Fest and said let’s be real about it. The idea is that a girl and her group of friends go to a similar horror night theme park. The back story to this though is that there was killing at another park where a guy stalked a girl and left her body dead in the park. People thought it was a prop and ...

  3. Mar 1, 2019 · There are some genuine good moments in Blood Fest – Jacob Batalon’s performance as the park's mad master of ceremonies providing many of them – but the film simply can’t overcome the very shallow nature of its premise. Hell Fest: A group of millennials visits a traveling "carnival" called Hell Fest - a collection of horror themed mazes ...

  4. Blood Fest is like Battle Royale meets The Cabin in the Woods. They take all the horror movie cliches together and put them in one single location. And of course, our genre-savvy characters must survive the night. At first, I thought this would going to be an hour-long, big-screen Rooster Teeth skit, but it was actually a lot of fun.

  5. Jan 10, 2019 · He took local mental patients and had them watch the same horror film on repeat. Walsh has video gamers unknowingly controlling real corpses to kill the guests, which may not be supernatural but is batshit mad science that is beyond far-fetched. The vampires are hot Eastern European women who have been promised visas, have had their teeth filed ...

  6. Feb 14, 2019 · Length. 1:32:40. Description. Fans flock to a festival celebrating the most iconic horror movies, only to discover that the charismatic showman behind the event has a diabolical agenda. As festival attendees start dying off, three teenagers - more schooled in horror-film cliches than practical knowledge about neutralizing psycho killers - must ...

  7. Haunt and Hell Fest are so similar even Prime confuses them 💀. Finally decided to watch Dark Harvest and noticed that the sample images for Haunt (2019) are actually from Hell Fest (2018). I've read a few reviews where people compare the two films. I don't see any comparison outside of "group of friends at a Halloween attraction add horror ...

  8. Sep 17, 2022 · The plot is after getting tickets to Hell Fest, a group of six friends must find a way to survive when a stalker in a mask puts them in his sights. The film is rated R, there are six deaths, and the runtime is one hour and 29 minutes. I definitely recommend this if you haven't seen it.

  9. Jul 17, 2018 · Hell Fest just seems to be a generic slasher set in a similar setting as Bloodfest. Bloodfest is a love letter, but it’s also a parody of the genre. Hell Fest seems like a more serious rip off of the concept without the creativity that Bloodfest exemplifies. Both are also fairly similar to The Final Girls.

  10. Sep 27, 2021 · Hell Fest (2018) and Haunt (2019) are both slashers set in haunted attractions. I preferred Hell Fest (2018) because it felt like walking around with my friends at Universal Studios Horror Nights or Knott's Scary Farm, alive and electric with high production values creating a Halloween atmosphere. Hell Fest had a lot less gore, and the kills ...
