  1. Aug 16, 2022 · The Beyond was interesting for sure. The House by The Cemetery was also cool, except for BOB. Just realized the reporter in "city" is the same actor who plays the detective in "pieces". I really didn't like City the first time I saw it on a piece of junk print but after Zombie and watching it again I was like holy crap this movie is brutal.

  2. Oct 13, 2020 · This Friday I’m going to re watch city of the living dead and Saturday, The Beyond, and end the weekend with zombi 5, AKA killing birds. The movie is total garbage. It demonstrates how the OK acting, nice special effects and cinematography could be totally ruined by absolutely inadequate directing and kindergarten level screenplay. Okay this ...

  3. Sep 18, 2023 · From what is known, City of the Dead was intended to be an ultraviolent, fast-paced arcade shooter based off the aforementioned Living Dead franchise. Worth mentioning is a project unrelated to this particular lost media, as it seemed to be the first idea of a George A. Romero officially branded video game.

  4. Oct 1, 2015 · City of the Living Dead, however, feels very internally consistent with its delivery. None of the effects feel out of place, and there are actually some creepy elements that still hold up. I love the opening theme, too. The only thing that really ruins this film is the godawful ending.

  5. May 12, 2021 · Yeah, I guess Fulci's films from this are are just too weird for one to "get" them right away. I wasn't even sure if he could handle a more straightfoward narrative, but then I watched 3 of his thrillers from the 70s and found 2 of them to be quite great too.

  6. Aug 8, 2023 · I watched City of the Living Dead for the first time late last week and to be honest, it unfortunately didn't really do much for me. I'd seen it come up in a lot of posts on here in recent months but I just didn't enjoy it. That infamous drill kill was certainly memorable, as was the flesh coming out of the girls mouth scene.

  7. Apr 16, 2021 · He also did the best zombies IMO. The way they move, they’re heads down and eyes closed conveys the mindlessness of the living dead better than any other director. Most zombies have wild, angry looks in their eyes where as Fulci’s dead were the opposite. He was a master.

  8. Jul 10, 2019 · Probably just a rumour. When the guts start falling out, the mouth is lookin a bit fake... Still looks a million times better than gore now-a-days. My favorite is either that or the dude that gets his eyes gouged out and his head pulled off in Day of the Dead. His voice gets all high from stretching his vocal cords.

  9. Jul 11, 2023 · TWD: Dead City. Personally I like the world building of shows and emphasis on zombies like how they act and how they are a threat. That coupled with some drama makes a great show. However, the zombies are hella boring in Dead City and I’m not gonna watch a Negan redemption show. On top of that Maggie’s presence is lack luster.

  10. Oct 16, 2023 · Tubi has lol a dubbed version that was made where all the dialogue of the original is all british dialogue called "Night of The British Dead" it's actually kinda funny. and dam mentioning "that movie night of the living dead" at the beginning of Return of The Living Dead is ICONIC.
