About Lil Twist In 2003, ten-year-old Texas native Christopher Moore, under the name Lil Twist, scored a Dallas-area pop-rap hit with "Texas Twist." The performing name stuck, though a couple years passed before Moore's career advanced farther, when he sought out Lil Wayne at a concert and impressed the multi-platinum rapper enough to become his protégé.
He released his first single, "The Texas Twist", when he was 10 years old, which was #1 locally in Dallas for 6 straight weeks.Lil Twist was signed to Young Money Records after Lil Wayne saw him perform at one of his concert openings in 2007. He released mixtapes such as The Golden Child, and a single, "Love Affair" to build anticipation for his upcoming album, Bad Decisions.
