Some of us who's a truck and 4x4 fan, its an honor just to have a glimpse of these workhorses. ONGC in mehsana owns couple of Peterbilt and Kenworth.

Jul 22, 2021 · re: Cooling fans turn on and off repeatedly, when the AC is on. One of the cooling fan is normally commanded by engine coolant temperature while the other is commanded by the operation of the AC Compressor. Only in extreme conditions both fans run as a fail safe. So depending on the condition the fans turn on and off intermittently.
Mar 9, 2010 · Please take the car to a competent electrician and check the charging and battery condition first. Then do a check of the wiring. IMHO 100/130 is a overkill for that car's electrical, i would say stick to 90/100 with proper relay and wiring if you are particular. You turn on the headlights and the engine goes off.
Aug 6, 2021 · Reason for other brake pad wearing out can be explained as below: As first brake pad (nearer to disc) wears out, the compression action will increase. This starts bringing the second pad ( farther to disc) in contact with disc after some wear out on first pad. Last edited by gkveda : 6th August 2021 at 13:06.
Sep 25, 2020 · 5) Connect the breather hose to the garden hose and clamp them. 6) Tie up the hose somewhere below the car. It has a proper zip tie now. 7) In cold condition the breather mod may seem useless, see the effect when the oil is hot after a good 10-15 kms of running. 8) Make a video for everyone to see.
May 3, 2014 · Peterbilt and Kenworth are being used by ONGC for many years now. A whole thread is dedicated to it by yours truly. Also there is a foreign registered Mercedes bus, which remains in India most time of the year. I have posted a image long ago.

Aug 18, 2011 · A small correction. The 4 cylinder Hino engine was introduced way back in 1987 much before the collaboration with Iveco materialsed. It was offered on AL Chital, an intermediate CV. It was pitted against Tata 608, the failed bigger brother of 407 which had a 6 cylinder engine admeasuring 4.4 litres.
