Samurai X: Reflection, known as in Japan a Rurouni Kenshin: Seisohen, is the second OVA series of the Rurouni Kenshin franchise. It is generally considered as non-canon due to significant differences from the manga storyline, although it served as a finale to the TV series.

Synopsis: Kenshin and Kaoru are married. Kenshin leaves Kaoru with their son, Kenji, to lead a revolution in China. But both of them suffer from a seemingly incurable disease. 15 years later, Kenshin tries to return home to his wife before she dies of grief.
As she waits for her husband's return, Kaoru dreams about the events that took place from the time she met Kenshin to the time they got married. Kaoru recalls the time when Enishi Yukishiro plotted against Kenshin to avenge his sister's death. She remembers her promise to support Kenshin.
