Tacoma had about 1 1/2 to 2 inches more space from the back of the cab to the middle door post. A bigger truck would have been overkill for my needs, and I don't need an SUV. Based on the reviews I've seen so far, the 2024 Tacoma is about 1 or 2 inches shorter in that space than the 3rd Gen Tacoma.

Jul 9, 2021 · Highest Resale value. Good 4wd systems. Cons: Not the most comfortable vehicle ever. A lot of plastics in the interior. Due to high resale values used ones are way overpriced compared to direct competitors. Tacoma’s are an engine, tranny, seats, and a truck frame.
Toyota knows the Tacoma's brand value is built on reliability. They're not going to toss an untested powerplant in there on a whim. I do agree that hybrid turbo engines are on the whole more complicated and prone to failure than NA engines, but this is the way the world is going right now.
Basically the “cost” of buying it immediately as opposed to placing an order and waiting for it to come in. So up here, if you can wait new is definitely worth it. Hell if new is only a couple grand more than used where you are, I’d still say that’s worth it. Reply reply. Reflex1888.
sdm2430. •. Obviously the Taco is a very reliable vehicle, and a large majority of years are going to be great. Whenever you want to know what year problems happened with a certain model of car go to carcomplaints.com. According to them the worst year is the 2016. That year the #1 problem was the transmission.

Dec 31, 2020 · Toyota cheaps out on their trucks compared to their SUVs. Tacoma has c frame, smaller 3.5 engine, rear drum brakes, compared to 4runner's fully boxed frame, 4.0 engine, all disc brakes. I traded in my 2016 SR5 Tacoma for a 2019 RAV4 XLE AWD. I loved my Tacoma, but I used the bed very seldomly.
