Every year, around 260 new pupils join Wellington at a number of different stages. From 2025, our new pupils will be 50% boys and 50% girls. 80% join as boarders and 20% travel to the College each day as day-pupils. c.200 enter Third Form (Year 9) at 13+.

The College is situated in Crowthorne about 35 miles to the South West of London and can be reached by road from either the M3 or M4. Crowthorne railway station enjoys direct rail links to Reading and Guildford, and our closest airports are Heathrow (around 30 minutes’ drive) and Gatwick (just over an hour).
Wellington has remained on its beautiful and extensive site in Berkshire since its foundation. Girls were admitted to the Sixth Form in 1975, and the school became fully co-educational in 2006. The College is now home to 1100 pupils, 80% of whom board and some of whom are still Foundationers.
Visitors Days are the most popular way of visiting Wellington. These events take place on Saturday mornings at 10.30am and provide an easy and effective way of conducting a first visit to the College.
