May 3, 2022 · I mentioned in my original post that the early Geneve were of better quality and higher up the Omega model line than the later ones. That is a specific illustration of what I am talking about. There's nothing wrong with buying a watch that was made in the '60s, or the '70s, but the quality was, in many cases, no longer as high as during the previous decades.
Oct 29, 2021 · I have frequently forgotten this is how Omega watches set the date at times, it definitely takes some getting used to. My GSOTM is actually like this too, despite not being a GMT watch. The benefit of this is that you never have to worry about accidentally changing the date around midnight and potentially messing up the date complication.
