This moving film is the story, told by his filmmaker parents and others who knew him, of Evan’s life and death, and his life-long struggle with bipolar disorder.
Ms. Perry produced and directed “Boy Interrupted”, a feature-length documentary about the bipolar illness and tragic suicide of her fifteen year-old son, Evan, in 2005. The film premiered in competition at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and subsequently aired on HBO.
