You only need to be behind a tractor or a caravan to slow you down. Apart from the arterial route A30 the roads are narrow and twisty.

From reading forum messages, it certainly reads as though July and August are not the months for visiting due to crowds and congested roadways. I would be interested in visiting multiple towns and biking/walking the paths, from Tintagel to St. Michael’s Mount.
