Tijuana de Caliente Miguel Ángel Jiménez Rodríguez (born 5 January 1964) is a Spanish professional golfer. He has won 21 times on the European Tour, holds the record for most starts on the European Tour, and has been a member of two victorious Ryder Cup teams.

Biography. Miguel Ángel came into this world on 5 th January 1964, the fifth of what would become seven boys, in the town of Málaga on the coast of Andalucía, Southern Spain. By the age of 15, Miguel Ángel had left school and was earning his keep at a garage as well as collecting golf balls and caddying at a local golf course, Torrequebrada.
Worked in a garage before playing golf, earning him the nickname 'The Mechanic'. DP World Tour Partners. One of Spain’s most accomplished golfers, Jiménez holds a number of records on the DP World Tour, on which he still plays well into his 50s.
Europe won by the largest margin in the history of the event. Since then I have played on a losing side at Valhalla, Kentucky in 2008, a victorious side at Celtic Manor in Wales in 2010 and been Vice Captain in Europe’s incredible achievement at the “miracle of Medinah” and the win at Gleneagles.
