Umbrellas are an American indie rock band formed in 2005 by former the Lyndsay Diaries frontman, Scott Windsor. After they fulfilled their contract with the Militia Group, they released their Beach Front Property EP independently in June 2007.

While Umbrellas may never headline a worldwide arena tour or have multiple platinum success, Illuminare is a beautiful little gem that illuminates love and heartbreak. The songs are catchy and witty while wave after wave of melody grace your ears and won't let go.

If you’re familiar with TLD, you’ll know the project was full of fraught and tender acoustic strummings; if that band didn’t pull at your heartstrings, you really need to check your pulse. Windsor’s vocals were often broken and heart-rendering and this is a trait continued in Umbrellas .
