Takashi Ishii (石井隆, Ishii Takashi, 11 July 1946 – 22 May 2022) was a Japanese film director, screenwriter and manga artist. He directed several pinku eiga erotic films, but his most notable feature was the 1995 crime thriller Gonin starring Takeshi Kitano.
Takashi Ishii was a Japanese writer and director of films such as Original Sin, Hello, My Dolly Girlfriend and Gonin Saga. He died in 2022 from cancer at the age of 75.

石井 隆 （いしい たかし、 1946年 7月11日 [ 1] - 2022年 5月22日 ）は、 日本 の 漫画家 、 脚本家 、 映画監督 。 本名・石井 秀紀 [ 1][ 2] 。 宮城県 仙台市 出身 [ 1] 。 宮城県仙台第二高等学校 を経て、 早稲田大学 商学部 卒業。 経歴・人物. 早稲田大学ではシナリオ研究会に所属していたが、学生運動に巻き込まれることを嫌い、 革マル派 の影響が薄かった 映画研究会 へ転属 [ 1] 。 在学中から後に脚本家となった 金子裕 と組んで、雑誌のライターやカメラマンで生活していた [ 1] 。 卒業後の 1970年 、『 事件劇画 』誌で 出木英杞 のペンネームで劇画漫画家としてデビュー [ 2] 。

It is based on the 1974 film Flower and Snake directed by Masaru Konuma and starring Naomi Tani. The earlier film, based on a novel by Oniroku Dan, was part of Nikkatsu's Roman Porno series.
