Regina Ziegler (born 8 March 1944) is a German film and television producer. Life and career. Born in Quedlinburg, the daughter of a journalist, Ziegler briefly studied law at the Free University of Berlin, before dropping her studies to work at the Sender Freies Berlin as a production assistant.

Regina Ziegler (née Krömer; born March 8, 1944 in Quedlinburg) is a German film producer. In 1973, she founded the production company Ziegler Film and produced the film "Ich dachte, ich wäre tot", making her Germany's first female film producer.
