Rohit Shetty (born 14 March 1974) is an Indian film director, stuntman, writer, producer and television host who works in Hindi cinema. His movies are often mixed the genres of action comedy and masala films.
Rohit Shetty has been the vision behind hugely successful film franchises like Golmaal & Singham. The first film under this joint venture was the October 2017 release “Golmaal Again”. The film broke multiple box office records and became one of the highest-grossing Indian films of that time.
Shetty started his own production company, Rohit Shetty Productions, around 2014. Their filmography included the sequel Singham Returns (2014) and the blockbuster Dilwale (2015), the latter marked the much-anticipated reunion of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.
