    Carolyn Scott (born 24 August 1960; age 63) is an actress who played the Romulan Praetor in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds first season episode "A Quality of Mercy".

    Beginning in 1986, Scott has appeared in a large number of television projects, usually in smaller roles. She can be seen in episodes of series like War of the Worlds (with Shelley Owens), Goosebumps, Twice in a Lifetime (with Corbin Bernsen), Queer as Folk, Monk (with Stephen McHattie and Alan van Sprang), Covert Affairs (with Oded Fehr), Heartland, and In the Dark (with Thamela Mpumlwana, Derek Webster, and Adrian Walters).

    She also appeared in several television movies, including Critical Choices (1996), Any Mother's Son (1997, with Paul Popowich, Allan G. Royal, and Mimi Kuzyk), DC 9/11: Time of Crisis (2003, with Gregory Itzin, Stephen Macht, Lawrence Pressman, George Takei, and Allan G.
