Maurice de Féraudy (born in Joinville-le-Pont on December 3, 1859 - died in Paris May 12, 1932) was a French songwriter, stage and film director, and actor at the Comédie-Française. He was the father of actor Jacques de Féraudy .

Maurice de Féraudy ・ Comédie-Française. 316 e sociétaire. Entré à la Comédie-Française en 1880 ; sociétaire en 1887 ; doyen en 1929 ; retraité en 1929 ; sociétaire honoraire en 1930. Issu de l'aristocratie, fils du colonel de Féraudy, il entre au Conservatoire dans la classe de Got, en sort en 1880 avec un premier prix de Comédie.
“Fascination” holds a fascinating history. Originally composed as a piano piece called “Valse Tzigane” in 1904 by Fermo Dante Marchetti, it was later given French lyrics by Maurice de Féraudy. The song was first performed by Paulette Darty at La Scala in 1905.
