Stephen Karam (born c. 1980) [1] is an American playwright, screenwriter and director. His plays Sons of the Prophet, a comedy-drama about a Lebanese-American family, and The Humans were finalists for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2012 and 2016, respectively.
Stephen Karam is the author of The Humans, Sons of the Prophet and Speech & Debate, among other plays. He has also adapted and directed Chekhov's The Seagull and The Cherry Orchard for the stage and film.
