Mark Anthony Taylor AO (born 27 October 1964) is a former Australian cricketer and current Nine Network commentator. He was the captain of the Australian squad which finished as runners-up at the 1996 Cricket World Cup .
Mark Taylor was a left-handed opening batter, slip fielder and captain for Australia from 1989 to 1999. He scored 7525 runs in 104 Tests, including a world record 334 not out, and 3514 runs in 113 ODIs.
