Alaric "Rokko" Jans [1] [2] [3] (born January 27, 1949) [4] is an American film and theater composer. Career. Jans co-wrote with James Quinn the music and lyrics of the 1979 musical adaptation of John R. Powers ' Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?.
From 1996 to 2009 Mr. Jans was the resident composer for Chicago Shakespeare Theater; the theater was honored by the Tony Awards for its continuous level of artistic achievement contributing to the growth of theatre nationally:
