Johan Brisinger is a Swedish film writer and director. The short film Passing Hearts, which Brisinger wrote and directed in 2004, was honoured with several awards at film festivals around the world, including the audience award at the Berlinale.
Johan made his debut as a feature film writer and director with the poignant drama SUDDENLY (Underbara älskade). The film, both critically and commercially successful, won the Peoples Choice Award at the Swedish Film Awards and the Audience Award at Nordic Film days in Lübeck.
Johan Nils Thure Brisinger, född 4 oktober 1965 i Hedvig Eleonora församling i Stockholm, är en svensk filmregissör och manusförfattare. Brisinger studerade till en Bachelor of Arts -examen vid filmskolan på University of Southern California i Los Angeles 1984–1988.
