Artist Irene Gall of Thornhill, Dumfries and Galloway is inspired by natural landscapes, enhanced by monuments, castles and standing stones. She is a native of Dumfries and Galloway and has been drawing and painting for most of her life.

Irene Gall MA. Native to and working in Dumfries and Galloway, I studied History of Fine Art with Geography at the University of Glasgow after attending Wallace Hall Academy in Closeburn. Whilst at University, I also attended classes at the Glasgow School of Art.
