Katsuhito Akiyama (秋山 勝仁, Akiyama Katsuhito, born January 29, 1950) is a Japanese storyboard artist and director. He often works with Shinji Aramaki and Hideki Kakinuma.
Akiyama joined AIC in 1986 and created the classic anime "Gall Force" and "Bubblegum Crisis." He is also famous as director of "Ai No Kusabi", "El Hazard" TV series and "Magical Girl Pretty Samy" TV series.
