Alfred Gough (born on August 22, 1967) is an American screenwriter, producer, writer, director, showrunner and creator. He is best known as the developer of The WB / The CW 's Superman -prequel television hit series Smallville.
Smallville is a long-running action-adventure drama that follows the origin story of Clark Kent, a young alien with superpowers. The series, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, features a large ensemble cast, including Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum, Allison Mack, and Erica Durance.
