    Jeremy Doner (born April 10, 1972; age 52) is an American screenwriter and producer who is currently developing a new 24 anthology pilot, along with Howard Gordon.

    Doner was born in Detroit, Michigan, but grew up in the nearby village of Franklin. When he was nine years old, his family moved to SoHo, New York City. Doner became interested in writing after visiting Space 2B, a poetry and performance space where he listened to writers like Allen Ginsberg and others.

    Doner attended Harvard University, where he intended to complete a major in Biological Anthropology and Psychology, while also taking various film and literature classes. He eventually changed his major to English, where he wrote a screenplay for his creative thesis. Doner graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1994, and used his thesis script to apply for the American Film Institute in Los Angeles as a screenwriting fellow. He graduated from AFI in 1996.

    Through his career, Doner has written for TV shows like Damages and The Killing, which he also produced. His first film writing credit was in the 1996 TV film Legend of the Lost Tomb.

    Doner is married to writer and humorist Mishna Wolff.
