Óscar Dancigers (Moscow, Russia; 1902 - Mexico City; February 27, 1976) was one of the most prestigious producers of the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema, enormously famous for having been the producer of the first Mexican films by Luis Buñuel.

Óscar Dancigers (Moscú, Imperio ruso; 1902 - Ciudad de México; 27 de febrero de 1976) fue uno de los productores de la Época de Oro del cine mexicano, reconocido por haber sido el productor de las primeras películas mexicanas de Luis Buñuel.
Producer Óscar Dancigers sought Buñuel to direct following the success of El Gran Calavera (1949). Buñuel already had a script ready titled ¡Mi huerfanito jefe! about a boy who sells lottery tickets. However, Dancigers had in mind a more realistic and serious depiction of children in poverty in Mexico City.
