The project won the Biennale Organising Committee Award and created a multi-cycle ecology of aquaponics, algae cultivation and water filtering.

Thomas Chung is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who teaches drawing and painting at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He has a BFA from San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from Yale University, and his work has been exhibited and recognized nationally and internationally.
