After various jobs as a construction worker, mover, circus entertainer and tabloid journalist, Dominik made his passion his life's work. Dominik Locher was born as the first child to a construction worker from the Swiss mountains. He studied both at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and at the American Film Institute (AFI). Since his award-winning feature debut TEMPO GIRL he has been working as a director.
