Edward "Ed" Boon (born February 22, 1964) is an American video game programmer, voice actor, and director. Boon was employed for over 15 years at Midway Games. Since 2011, he has worked for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for one of its Subsidiaries, NetherRealm Studios.

Ed Boon currently holds the Guinness World Record for the longest running voice actor in video games, having been the voice of Scorpion since the series began in 1992. In April 2019, Boon revealed that he did the voice of Jax Briggs since the character's debut in Mortal Kombat II up until Mortal Kombat 4 .
