In 2008, Cronin released his only solo album Billion Dollar Sound. He recorded two hit songs, "Impossible" and "Story of My Life". Cronin also formed a rap duo with Doug Ray (formerly of Bad Ronald ) called Loose Cannons.

May 16, 2008 · Rich Cronin released his solo album Billion Dollar Sound on May 16, 2008. It followed the quietly-released 2006 digital EP titled Nothing Lasts Forever. Rich worked on Billion Dollar Sound for three years, writing and recording countless songs, many of which he shared on his Myspace page.
