Feb 25, 2013 · With those eight words, veteran film editor and Temple alumnus William Goldenberg BA '82, won an Academy Award for "Best Film Editing" from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at the 85th annual Academy Awards ceremony Feb. 24 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
Argo also won Academy Awards for Adapted Screenplay (Chris Terrio) and Film Editing (William Goldenberg). As one of the producers of Argo, Best Picture recipient George Clooney became the only person to receive nominations for both lead and supporting acting categories, directing, original and adapted screenplay, and Best Picture.
