Gregory Arthur Phillinganes (born May 12, 1956) is an American keyboardist, vocalist, and arranger. A session musician, Phillinganes has contributed to numerous albums over a broad array of artists and genres.
Greg Phillinganes began playing the piano at the tender age of two and hasn’t stopped since. Inspired as a youth by the classic Motown recordings of the Jackson 5 and Stevie Wonder, Phillinganes began performing with bands around his hometown of Detroit as a teenager.

Greg is an ASCAP Pop Award Winner for the song “Love Will Conquer All,” which he co-wrote with Lionel Richie. Phillinganes was the music director for Richie’s “Can’t Slow Down” tour- his first as a solo artist- as well as Michael Jackson’s “Bad” and “Dangerous” tours.
