Nov 26, 2023 · The album's studio tracks were recorded late at night, in a pitch-black studio — so dark that Haino says he couldn't see the neck of his guitar and had to grope for notes. The results are repetitive and insistent blues guitar lines that hack out remarkably desolate and alien rhythmic spaces.
