Eduardo De Filippo OMRI (Italian: [eduˈardo de fiˈlippo]; 26 May 1900 – 31 October 1984), also known simply as Eduardo, was an Italian actor, director, screenwriter and playwright, best known for his Neapolitan works Filumena Marturano and Napoli Milionaria.
Considerato uno dei più importanti autori teatrali italiani del Novecento, è stato autore di numerose opere teatrali da lui stesso messe in scena e interpretate e, in seguito, tradotte e rappresentate da altri anche all'estero. Autore prolifico, lavorò anche nel cinema con gli stessi ruoli ricoperti nell'attività teatrale.
