Turning Point Ensemble, founded by its musician members in 2002, is a large chamber ensemble that presents music in innovative contexts across genres and intersecting with multiple art forms.
This concert was recorded by the Turning Point Ensemble in the Chan Shun Concert Hall at the University of British Columbia in April, 2021.
It is an artistic chain of expression, the first ‘1’ is the performer, the second’1’ is the composer, and the third ‘1’ is the filmmaker, resulting in a series of five-minute art films, each comprising a new work that will be a unique portrait of the musicians that make up Turning Point Ensemble.
