Ward One: Along the Way is the debut studio album by former Black Sabbath and English heavy metal drummer Bill Ward. Originally released January 10, 1990, it features a wide array of guest musicians, including then-former Black Sabbath band member Ozzy Osbourne .

Bill has shelved his plans to re-release his first album, “Ward One: Along the Way”. At this point, the only way to obtain it would be on Ebay, or at a used CD store. The last track on the album has a 2 second sound byte from “Paranoid”. Ozzy Osbourne sings on two tracks (#3 & #7).

Nov 26, 2012 · The finest and most noteworthy was his first, Ward One: Along the Way, released a decade after his Sabbath departure. A long time in the making doesn’t begin to sum it up. Bill himself provides drums, lead vocals, and piano, but not on all tracks.
