  3. Jul 17, 2022 · English majors Tim Ubels, vocalist and drummer, and Nick, vocalist and guitarist, have been playing music together since they first learned to play an instrument. They formed The Sylvia Platters in 2014, named after the novelist and poet Sylvia Plath.

  4. Tim Ubels is a graduate of the Library and Information Technology Program at the University of the Fraser Valley. He worked on digitizing, cataloguing, and thesaurus construction for the South Asian Canadian Digital Archive.

  5. Jul 5, 2022 · “We all grew up in a small town in Fraser Valley with Chistian upbringings, there were lots of interesting dynamics at play,” said Tim Ubels, drummer and co-lead vocalist. The EP was created a year into the pandemic, and that brought new dynamics to the table.
