The Last is a Los Angeles–based band formed in 1976 by Joe Nolte with high school bandmates Vitus Mataré and Dave Harbison. By 1978 the band included three brothers: Joe (guitar, vocals), Mike (vocals), and David Nolte (bass guitar).
"Gin" came out, and sank without a trace. It's one of my favorite Last albums. I don't even think it's available, except perhaps at the SST site (see our links page).

The Last are a pop-rock band from Los Angeles, CA, led by singer/guitarist/songwriter Joe Nolte. Joe and his brother, Mike (keyboards, vocals, & occasional songwriting), have been the only constant members of the band since its formation in the mid 1970s.
THE LAST. GIN AND INNUENDOES. The first LP in seven years by this underappreciated L.A. quintet resembles Confession (1988) and Awakening (1989). It's still not as good as their exceptional L.A. Explosion (1979), the unreleased Look Again (1980) — Hey SST!
