Peter Prince (born 10 May 1942) is a British novelist. He was born in England and studied in America. His first novel Play Things won the Somerset Maugham Award in 1973. He was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing in a Limited Series or a Special for his work on the 1980 BBC miniseries Oppenheimer.
The versatile, intrepid Canadian music and video artist Peter Prince, is based on Salt Spring Island, BC. During a career that spans four decades, he has taken his musician’s soul and filmmaker’s eye from the Haida Gwaii to the Himalayas, but his heart is rooted in the natural beauty and culture of the Salish Sea.
