    AR (acronym for "Addison Rae") is the debut extended-play from American singer Addison Rae. It was released on 18 August 2023 through Sandlot Records.

    The EP consists of four previously leaked songs, which Rae planned to originally release in 2021. The EPs lead single, Obsessed, was released on March 18th 2021, however the track is only included as a bonus track on the Spotify version of the EP.

    In March 2021, Rae released her Debut single Obsessed. The following week, Rae was a special guest on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

    In May 2021 she confirmed that she was planning an album. However in June 2021 it was confirmed that it would just be an EP instead of an album and would feature work with Charli XCX, Benny Blanco and more, four songs were said to be ready for release. However after the poor reception of Obsessed, the EP was scrapped. Among fans the project started to be referred to as the "lost album".

    In January 2022, snippets of Rae's unreleased music started leaking online and began trending on TikTok. A few months later the songs were leaked in full and gained a cult following on social media (prominently on Twitter and TikTok, specifically within those platforms Queer community). Addison Rae even started to be called a potential "pop Princess" and "[the] Saviour of Pop".

    In January 2023, Rae updated her Spotify profile, hinting that new music could be expected that year however, nothing else had been announced.

    Her website addisonrae.com was launched on 14 August with a mysterious countdown.

    Later on 15 August 2023, Rae posted on instagram with an image of the album cover and the caption "dug up a few of the leaks from the lost album 💗AR 8.18" announcing the EP's release. On 18 August 2023 the EP was released and Rae posted again on instagram with images from the EP's photoshoot and the caption
