Torben Betts is one of the UK’s leading playwrights and his plays are produced both in this country and internationally. Earlier in his career he was championed by Sir Alan Ayckbourn, who invited him to be resident dramatist at the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough in 1999.
