Mircea Veroiu (Romanian pronunciation: [ˈmirtʃe̯a veˈroju]; 29 April 1941 – 26 December 1997) was a Romanian film director and screenwriter. He directed 22 films between 1968 and 1997. He was a member of the jury at the 41st Berlin International Film Festival .
Mircea Veroiu was born on 29 April 1941 in Târgu Jiu, Gorj, Romania. He was a director and actor, known for Stone Wedding (1973), Adela (1985) and Craii de Curtea Veche (1995). He was married to Elena Albu. He died on 26 December 1997 in Bucharest, Romania.
