William H. Pine. Producer: Seven Were Saved. Father of producer Howard Pine, William H. Pine graduated from Columbia University. In 1935 he became the head of publicity for Paramount Pictures and later associate producer for the Cecil B. DeMille production unit at the studio.

Pine-Thomas Productions was a prolific B-picture unit of Paramount Pictures from 1940–1957, producing 81 films. Co-producers William H. Pine (February 15, 1896 – April 29, 1955) and William C. Thomas (August 11, 1903 – April 2, 1984) were known as the "Dollar Bills" because none of their economically made films ever lost money.

Sep 12, 2006 · Reviewer: I_like_old_movies - - June 23, 2012. Subject: Pretty good historical film. This was a pretty good film and interesting for telling the story of how WWII bomber machine gunners were trained. The plot is paper thin, but it's worth watching for it's historical value.
