Matthew Broderick is an American actor, who, for Disney, voiced Simba in The Lion King and its direct-to-video sequels. He also played the titular character and RoboGadget in the 1999 live-action adaptation of Inspector Gadget and Professor Harold Hill in The Music Man. He also played a fictionalized version of himself in the Hulu series Only Murders in the Building.
Broderick was born in Manhattan, New York and attended grade school at City and Country School, as well as Walden School. He currently holds the record for the youngest person to ever receive the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play, at the age of 21, for his role as Eugene Jerome in Brighton Beach Memoirs. His other stage credits include Torch Song Trilogy, Biloxi Blues, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Night Must Fall, The Producers, The Odd Couple, Nice Work If You Can Get It, It's Only a Play, Sylvia, and Plaza Suite.
•He was considered to voice Buzz Lightyear, Flik, and Mike Wazowski in Pixar's Toy Story, A Bug's Life, and Monsters, Inc. (respectively), along with several other actors, before the roles were ultimately given to Tim Allen, Dave Foley, and Billy Crystal (respectively).[citation needed]
•He was also considered for the role of Chicken Little in Chicken Little, along with Michael J. Fox and David Spade. The role was eventually given to Zach Braff.

I thought "Read Along" meant a book - Not. It is a DVD "book" with subtitles on the screen, the characters don't talk or move, it only has a narator's voice and the pages "flip" on the screen. The whole story is over in 5 minutes.
